Aarón Vivancos

Born in Reus, Aarón plays two instruments (violin and guitar) at the age of 12 he plays violin with the “Junior Simphony Orchestra of Amsterdam” and studies at the dance school of the “Nederlands Ballet Theatre”.

At the age of 15 he is a dancer and musician in the flamenco show “Gypsy Soul”. At the age of 18 he enters the Professional Conservatory of Dance “Institut del Teatre” where he is awarded the “Extraordinary Student of the Year Award 2002”. Shortly after he enters as a soloist dancer in the “Ballet de Zaragoza” performing:

He also dances his own choreographies as a guest artist in this company, and at various festivals in Germany. He is principal in the “Nafas Dance Company” directed by Patrick de Bana dancing “Good night Amadeous” and “Night songs”. He is a soloist with the Scottish Ballet performing “Cinderella, Rubies, Episodes, Suite from Artifact” and “32 Cryptograms”. After graduating, he toured France and Spain with the company Ballet Jeunes d’europe, in the summer of 2002 performing choreographies by Juan Carlos Gil and Ramón Oller.

AWARDS:

  • Special Spanish Dance Award and Audience Award at the V National Dance Competition “Ciudad de Castellón” 2001.
  • Prize to the best dancer in the specialty of Spanish dance, “Ciudad de Ribarroja del Turia” 2001.
  • Finalist in the International Dansa Roseta Mauri Award Competition.
  • Award to the “Outstanding Dancer” in the Choreographic Contest of flamenco and Spanish dance of Madrid, 2006.

He is currently touring the world with his company Los Vivancos with his brothers.
