[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On Saturday, April 8, the dance show “In Time” premiered at the “Paco de Lucia” hall in Madrid. Emilio Serrano’s company presented a show that masterfully fuses Spanish and contemporary dance. The set design is original by Emilio Serrano, with whom I had the honor of working side by side for three long months to build a soundscape that would coexist and drive a world full of struggles, rivalries, attraction, desire and, of course, poetry in motion.<\/p>\n

The joint Choreographer-Composer work gave excellent results, meeting their needs was a challenge that forced me to investigate the expressive possibilities of the compass, the timbre, the dynamics. The fusion of Spanish and contemporary dance, with a daring, original scenography, full of lights and shadows, black and white, gave me the freedom to enter into electroacoustic timbre mixtures, classical instruments, lyrical voices and flamenco moans.<\/p>\n

Attraction and rejection. Prose and poetry. Eros and Thanatos. A show full of strength and lyricism.<\/p>\n
