\nThe Carlos III University of Madrid awarded us the Pedagogical Project Award for the play “Una tarde de teatro” which we performed in its auditorium in Legan\u00e9s on March 14. A cast of more than forty students including actors and musicians presented the text by Hitos Hurtado based on three entremeses by Miguel de Cervantes: “El viejo celoso”, “Los habladores” and “El retablo de la Maravillas”. Theater within theater and within theater.<\/p>\n
Stage in a “corral de comedias” with its “cazuela” where the women were accommodated to watch the performance. The music was originally composed for this production based on chacona basses, seguidillas, madrigals and tarantellas. All of them genres in force in our Golden Age that garnished the theatrical representations of our Hispanic playwrights.<\/p>\n
The production required intense but exciting work. It also received the award for Male Interpretation to our “hablador” Juan Jim\u00e9nez, already experienced in the scene with our “Hermes” of the previous production “La Paz de Arist\u00f3fanes, el Musical”.<\/p>\n
