The musical “La Paz” by Aristophanes has been awarded with the First Prize of the V Secondary Theater Contest of the University Carlos III of Madrid. The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 25. In addition, the play will be performed again in the same auditorium where the performances of the contest took place, the Auditorium of the Campus of Leganés.
Our musical “La Paz” by Aristophanes has been selected to compete in the V Secondary School Theater Contest. The performance will take place on April 16 in the hall of the Leganés Campus at 12 noon.
This Saturday, March 9, at 7,30, p.m. we represent again the musical “La Paz” by Aristophanes. This time at the Centro Cultural Villa de El Escorial.
The premiere of the musical “La Paz” by Aristophanes was a success. On June 13 and 15, at Majadahonda’s municipal auditorium, “Alfredo Kraus”, this Greek classic was performed in a stage version by Hitos Hurtado and original songs and music by yours truly, Gonzalo Gª Santos.
In the May 31 show held at the Majadahonda auditorium “Alfredo Kraus”, the play by playwright Julio Salvatierra “El muerto y el mar” (The Dead and the Sea) was premiered with great success.
Excellence does not necessarily have to be related to affectation and vanity. And that is the case of the Madrid composer José Nieto. His friendliness and approachability, facilitates access to a person of great human and, of course, artistic quality.
The well-known work of the Granada-born playwright and poet Federico Gª Lorca” will take to the stage with the students of the Bachillerato de “Artes Escénicas, Música y Danza” of the IES Carlos Bousoño of Majadahonda. The direction is in charge of the professor of the Department of Language and Literature Hitos Hurtado, winner of a MAX.
As everyone knows the MAX are the awards given to the best of the Performing Arts since 1988 in our country. Authors, choreographers, costume designers, lighting designers, composers, directors … people who work hard, with enthusiasm for the show to reach the best possible to the respected public. This award is a recognition of that so often reviled profession that is the theater. The representation of the world on a stage. Theatrum Mundi.
