The Carlos III University of Madrid awarded us the Pedagogical Project Award for the play “Una tarde de teatro” which we performed in its auditorium in Leganés on March 14. A cast of more than forty students including actors and musicians presented the text by Hitos Hurtado based on three entremeses by Miguel de Cervantes: “El viejo celoso”, “Los habladores” and “El retablo de la Maravillas”. Theater within theater and within theater.
Once again we have been selected to participate in the Secondary School Theater Contest that for six consecutive years has been organized by the Carlos III University of Madrid. This year we presented “Una tarde de teatro”.
The musical “La Paz” by Aristophanes has been awarded with the First Prize of the V Secondary Theater Contest of the University Carlos III of Madrid. The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 25. In addition, the play will be performed again in the same auditorium where the performances of the contest took place, the Auditorium of the Campus of Leganés.
Graduated in Classical Philology and later obtained the Superior Title of Professor of Harmony, Counterpoint, Composition and Orchestration at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid, where I received the teaching of Antón García Abril, Luis de Pablo, and Emilio Rey among others.
